Curriculum vitae et studiorum

Since 1991 E.J. has been director of research of CNR, in the field of Quantum Electronics and Plasmas, at IGI-CNR (Istituto Gas Ionizzati del CNR) of Padua. Currently he works for a research group of INFM (Sect. A), at the Department of Electronics and Informatics of Padua University.

His main scientific interests have centered on: spectroscopic diagnostics of laser-produced plasmas for fusion experiments, absorption spectroscopy of ionized species with the two laser-produced plasmas technique, test and utilization of stigmatic spectroscopic systems in normal and grazing incidence spectral regions.

In 1994, E.J. has been scientific coordinator of a national project of CNR on the theme "Laser-Produced Plasmas as XUV Sources". The project obtained from CNR a financial support of 280 ML. Since 1995, E.J. has been scientific coordinator of a Network of section A of INFM on the theme "XUV Radiation Generation from LPP's". In 1996, E.J. presented to CNR, as scientific coordinator, another national project on the theme "Coherent Harmonic Generation in the VUV with High Power Laser Pulses". Since september 1996, E.J. has been appointed national coordinator of a thematic line of section A of INFM entitled: "Radiation-Matter Interaction". E.J. is autor of more than 75 publications in international refereed journals and proceedings, and has been speaker, also as invited, at many international and national conferences.
