
Short biography:
Marco Levorato (S'06, M'09) was born in Venice, Italy, in 1980. He obtained both the BE (Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering) and the ME (Telecommunications Engineering) summa cum laude from the University of Ferrara, Italy, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In 2009, he received a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Padova. During 2008 he was on leave at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, United States. In 2009 he was a post-doc researcher at the University of Padova, under the supervision of Prof. Michele Zorzi. Currently he is a post-doc researcher at Stanford and the University of Southern California (USC) under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Goldsmith and Prof. Urbashi Mitra. His research interests include: control and modeling of cognitive and interference networks, transmission protocol modeling and error control techniques, cooperative communications, multiantenna communications He is author or co-author of 34 technical papers either published or accepted for publication major in international journals and conferences. I am a Member of the IEEE and IEEE Communications Society. He is also serving as a reviewer for IEEE Trans. on Information Theory, IEEE Trans. on Communications, IEEE Trans. on Wireless Communications, IEEE Trans. on Networking and the major IEEE Conferences.
