Biographical Sketch
Marcella Mandanici, composer and teacher at the "Luca Marenzio" Music Conservatory in Brescia (Italy), received her Master Degree in Electronic Music under the supervision of Sylviane Sapir (Disembodied voices: a kinect virtual choir conductor, Como Conservatory 2012). She is currently attending the PhD School in Information & Communication Technology at the Dept. of Information Engineering, with the Sound and Music Computing Group under the supervision of Sergio Canazza. Her main research interests involve algorithmic composition and expressive gesture-based musical performance.
