Here we are!

Welcome to my personal homepage at dei.unipd.it!

(I am the one in the picture aside left...)

I was born in Venice on March 27, 1983. I received both the Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering and the Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy) in 2005 and 2007, respectively. In April 2011, I also received from the same instituiton the PhD degree in Information Engineering. During my PhD I have been supervised by dr. Michele Rossi, SIGNET group. Broadly speaking, my research activity have been focused on distributed techniques for data collection in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). During the 2010, for six months, I carried on my reaserch activity at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis (France) as visting PhD student under the supervision of dr. Giovanni Neglia, MAESTRO team. During that period I focused my activity on distributed optimization techniques for Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs). At present, I am in Padova again, at SIGNET group, DEI. My research activity is now focused on underwater networking, within the research project NAUTILUS.
