Research Interests

I am working on several projects, related to technologies for diabetes treamtents:

  • Model identification of glucose-insulin system in type 1 and type 2 diabetic subjects.
  • Development of variability models describing circadian glucose variations.
  • Development of pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models of novel treatments for type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
  • Development of simulation softwares for in silico testing of insulin treatments and antidiabetic drugs.
  • Development and validation of artificial pancreas prototypes.
