Network SSIDs

Wireless networks that are visible in the department are:

• eduroam: federated network for all the people related to the University of Padova (students, professors, technical and administrative staff) and for the institutions that have joined eduroam (www.eduroam.org).
• DEI: network reserved to the staff of the department and qualified users. The DEI account is requested for the access;
• DEI-GUEST: network reserved to qualified guests that need to access the service temporarily.

How to access the service: students

The students of the University of Padova must access through eduroam.

How to access the service: DEI guests

Guests whose home institution has joined eduroam can access this network inside the department: for enrolling and fot configuration they have to address their technicians.

Those who don't have eduroam access need to ask the person hosting them in the department to register them following the procedure available on our Hostadmin portal, in the section "Guest - Create new DEI-GUEST account".

After the registration a temporary account will be generated and through it a guest can access just the DEI-GUEST network. Registration will be ready within 5 minutes.

To use the service you must have a DEI account and register your wireless network adapter on our Hostadmin portal.
