General Information
The Department has adopted PaperCut-MF software as a centralized system for managing and accounting for the use of departmental multifunction copiers. The innovative "Follow Me" printing mode is introduced, allowing for greater privacy, management flexibility, service continuity, and, not least, cost savings in terms of less wasted paper and toner for uncollected prints. The system allows charging printing costs to educational cost centers (borne by the department), research (borne by the affiliated research group), or personal (borne by the individual, with a debit note issued similarly to the use of landlines for personal purposes). The university transponder card is associated with the user account in the DEI network: to be recognized by the copier, simply bring your card close to the stylized card logo on the top of the device.
