PLEASE NOTE:
There are cases where macOS doesn't perceive the printer as having the ability to print in color and only offers black and white. If you're in this situation, open a terminal and paste the following command:
lpadmin -p papercut -o ColorModel=CMYK
After confirming with the enter key, the printer will be set by default to color, with the option to change to black and white. When you launch a print job, you must remember to modify the setting if necessary: this is done through the system print window. To return to the previous behavior, i.e., prints only in black and white, the command becomes:
lpadmin -p papercut -o ColorModel=Gray
IF PRINTS ARE NOT RELEASED:
If print jobs are launched and they don't reach the printer, but remain in the print queue indefinitely, then it's necessary to manually install the drivers contained in the downloaded package.
To do this, open the zip file containing the Kyocera universal drivers (the name is something like "Kyocera Mac Universal Driver") and launch the installation from the package with dmg extension and a name similar to "Kyocera OS X 10.9+ Web build". It may be necessary to delete the printer and recreate it.
If the process doesn't succeed, open a ticket with the helpdesk in the IT services section: http://helpdesk.dei.unipd.it.
