In the cabinet behind the speakers and below the projection screen there are two cameras that can be used for videoconferencing. One is a simple “document camera”; the other is a 360° camera with microphones and speakers, able to track several people who take turns in the discussion.

DEVICE POWER SUPPLY

In order to supply power to personal devices it is possible to use one of the two USB-C cables or else one of the outlets or the USB-C port located on the white box with the management display.

Alternatively, there are outlets on the left, under the table.

NETWORK

The wired connection is made available through connection of your personal device to one of the USB-C cables or to the USB-A cable: there is no need to authenticate.

It is also possible to choose the network cable located on the table, but in this case the device to connect should have previously been registered on the departmental portal with its MAC address at the website https://mail.dei.unipd.it/hostadmin/.

Also wireless network is available through SSO (Eduroam network) or departmental authentication (DEI network).

DISPLAYS LOCATED ON THE TABLE

It is possible to modify what is being shown on the two displays located on the table through the management display in the “REC” section: choose “PC” to show what is being projected on the projection screen behind or “CAM” to show the video that is being captured by the camera (placed on the ceiling, next to the projector) or else one of the combinations available.
