Descrizione Posizione Offerta:
Job Description:
Spectron is seeking a software engineer responsible for developing innovative
design flows for RF filtering products and constructing process design kits
(PDKs). The candidate for this position will provide integrated software for
improved design methodologies and automation with the goal of ameliorating
product time-to-market and reducing design cycles. The candidate will need to
work closely with the filter design team, interact with EDA tool vendors and
focus on developing innovative RF filter design flows integrating acoustic,
thermal, electromagnetic and circuit simulations. The candidate will use
Python, C++, and/or other proprietary languages in conjunction with specific
software and APIs.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Develop, implement, and manage software programs
•    Write and implement efficient code
•    Design and maintain PDKs
•    Design and implement innovative flows using EDA software
•    Collaborate with filter designers
•    Develop scripts to automate design engineering problems
•    Develop, document, and communicate simulation and software standards

Job Location: Padova (Italy)

Educational Background and Work Experience:
•    Minimum: M.S. degree
•    Preferred: Ph.D. in a qualified area or M.S. + 3 years of work experience

•    Proficiency with major electronic design automation (EDA) software
platforms for electromagnetic, acoustic, circuit or thermal modeling.
•    Excellent scripting capabilities in Python or C++
•    Some coursework in RF/EM design
•    Extensive experience in the full life cycle of the software design
process including requirement analysis, design, prototyping, coding,
documentation, implementation, and maintenance
•    Excellent communication skills and teamworking capabilities (English
