Descrizione Posizione Offerta:
Italdesign is looking for a dynamic person, who would be Responsible for the
design and development
of breakthrough Display and User Interfaces Devices for special automotive
projects.
The Display and UI Specialist define display optics constraints and
requirements, oversee the user
interaction technology (touch, haptic, etc.) and work cross-functionally on
system integration during
engineering development, from technology scouting and proof of concept till
Series deployment.

Responsibilities
• Design and integrate new display and touch technologies into products
from the prototype
phase to Start of Production
• Manage the technical relationship with display vendors to deliver new
display components to
the required specification and schedule
• Demo creation and setup
• Technical support sample creation and in-vehicle build
• Track and resolve issues through various phases of production, and
perform failure-mode and
root-cause analysis
• Travel to suppliers, customer and contract manufacturer sites world-wide
to support product
development activities
• Manage the Display Laboratory equipment
• Perform optical measurements and evaluate data.
• Creation of technical report and documentation related to display
• Benchmarking & market scanning
• Conduct research on emerging technologies.

Requirements
• Background in Consumer electronics, Display OEM, Automotive infotainment
• Experience in display/touch module design and architecture, system
integration, test, debugging
and analysis
• Experience with various touch/display technologies such as LCD, AMOLED,
touch sensors,
on-cell, in-cell.
• Experience with optical and electrical lab equipment for display
measurement
• 3 years of experience with direct view display optics
• Experience working with colorimetry and photometry
• Experience in operating display characterization equipment.

Informations
• Education: Master degree in Optical, Physics, Electrical Engineering or
equivalent practical

experience
• Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English and
Italian are required.
Knowledge of German/Chinese would be appreciated

Place of work: Moncalieri (TO) and availability to travel.
