Job Opening – Application Engineer
In this position, you’ll support our sales&marketing activities in the analysis of the semi market and emerging technologies, in the deployment of new solutions creating add value for our customers. You will be responsible to define with marketing team attractive demo and training sessions to explain our technologies and solutions. You may also spend hands-on time in Canova Tech lab tackling problems and delivering innovative development solutions that support products and drive revenue.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Working with design, marketing and demo and product definition teams to successfully define new solutions for the market
- Support marketing deployment with the definition and creation of dedicated demo boards
- Promoting our products and providing appropriate technical support to customers with dedicated demo sessions
- Production of collaterals, technical documentation and marketing support material
- Providing technical support to customers
- Engaging with customers to help them define new products and uncover opportunities for future product development
- Acting as a technical bridge between the customer and development team to help solve complex technical problems or develop competitive, high-performance working proposals for customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 Year of experience in semiconductor or high tech industries
- An understanding of system architecture, schematics, layouts along with a basic understanding of analog circuitry
- Understanding of semiconductor design and production phases is a plus
- Good programming skills in C/C++ for microcontroller
- Excellent analytical problem solving skills are required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong presentation skills Available to travel worldwide
