Full position specification for Director of Product Management. Our client is the Consumer Devices Business Segment of TE Connectivity LLC (www.te.com), an international, $14 billion dollar NYSE-listed company that is a technology leader in the world’s fastest growing markets, helping connect power, data and signal in everything from automotive and aerospace to communications, consumer, energy and industrial applications.

This position will be located in - and will require relocation to - Shanghai, China.

This executive will be directly responsible for a$100M relays & sensors product line (P&L) for the Consumer Devices business, which provides a broad range of connectivity solutions to various markets, including smartphones, tablets, ultraportable devices and personal computers.

Reporting to the VP, Product Management – Consumer Devices, this executive will lead and strengthen the current global product management team, and strive to accelerate the growth of the business globally with a priority focus on the Asia market.

Professional qualifications desired include the following:

Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering preferred; graduate degree is a plus;

10+ years of successful leadership experience with a strong customer interfacing and cross-functional (product management, operations, finance) skillset;

Specific experience and knowledge of the Chinese manufacturing environment, working for a top electronics supplier with direct contact to manufacturing related customers and proven C level contacts

Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the desire to rapidly grow a business
