Descrizione Posizione Offerta:
In the development team you are the expert of audio signal processing. You are in charge of the research and innovation in audio signal processing and:
• Maintain a technology watch on audio processing technics
• Conceive digital signal processing algorithms
• Develop measure and qualification process of the algorithms
• Create new valuable assets usable in Arturia products
• Manage an audio signal processing research documentation
You are responsible for the quality and efficiency of the audio algorithms you create.
You are in charge of a core technology of the company and ensure to reach highest quality standards.
You are in charge of:
• Monitoring the competitor’s technologies (and write benchmarks)
• Keeping a watch of publications, and threads related to audio signal processing
• Working on the efficiency of the audio algorithms
o Monitor the evolution of hardware technologies (processor architecture)
o Develop benchmarks to evaluate the performances
o Optimize existing code
• Working in relation with the development team to reach the best implementation possible of audio algorithms
• Create scripts, programs, and technics to validate the properties of audio signal processing systems (analog or digital)
• Reviewing final products audio quality
• Organizing all audio signal processing resources including:
o Writing documentation of all your research work, be
nchmarks, study and attempts o Organize prototyping code or documents o External documents and publications you used
o Writing reports to make your work usable to the rest of the development team

Profile
PhD, or engineering degree in signal processing specialized in audio signal.

Technical skills
• Excellent level of: mathematic and signal processing (Fourier, Laplace transforms, filter design)
• Very good knowledge of electronic and digital filters topologies
• Knowledge of additive, FM, and subtractive synthesis, of oscillator, and electronic effect topologies
• Good skills on Matlab (or equivalent), electronic circuits simulators (Spice), C++ programming language, a scripting language (python)
• Very good knowledge of processor computing architecture (amd64, SIMD, ARM), and operating systems (threads, interrupts, scheduling).
• Great understanding of real time computing constraints

Relational skills
Well organized, meticulous, you are able to work autonomously and to share your knowledge with a team. You are open to discussion and compromise. You have a high capacity of work and can work under pressure.
