Dielectric Characterization Engineer

Position of dielectric characterization engineer for Smart Power Technology Platforms R&D, ST Microelectronics.

Aim of the position is:
- To define and support the electrical and physical measurements and tests aimed to characterize dielectric layers both on Silicon and Silicon Carbide substrates.
- To contribute to the identification of suitable HK dielectric material and integration scheme for MIM capacitors in BCD10 technology.
- To propose new screening methodologies to be applied to all dielectrics and capacitors during EWS testing of products.
- To develop physical models to understand and predict electrical and reliability behavior of the characterized dielectric layers.

Master or PhD degree in physics or electronic engineering.

Knowledge of main reliability failure mechanisms; knowledge of technology steps and features; good knowledge of programming fundamentals and statistical methods/tools for data analysis; good knowledge of LabVIEW software.
